Just breathe.......
I am a little anxious this morning. Today is a busy day. My training group is doing a bike today. I borrowed a bike and I haven't riden it yet. I am sure it will be fine. Then, later this afternoon we are doing an open water swim. That means we will be swimming in a lake about 1/2 mile (same as the Danskin). I get a little anxious when it comes to lake swims. I have never had a problem swimming in a lake except when I know that I have to swim a long distance. This will be my sixth open water swim. I know each time I get one under my belt it will get better and better. The water is going to be a little cold for me, so it will be harder to relax!
Earlier in the week I had a breakthrough with my swim. I realized that I am not floating on the water when I am swimming. I was working too hard before. I am learning to relax and swim! Wow! I can't believe I just know figured that one out!
So, today I am going to breathe......relax......breathe......relax......focus.....
and breathe!
